Nursery School

Our Nursery program enrolls 200 children and provides a nurturing environment where young learners develop foundational skills through play-based and experiential learning approaches. At this critical stage of development, we focus on:

Physical development and coordination
Creative expression through art, music, and play

The nursery program serves as a solid foundation for the transition to primary education, with teachers who are specially trained in early childhood education.

Primary School

Our Primary program currently enrolls 300 students and builds upon the foundation established in nursery school. The primary education at AVS offers a comprehensive curriculum that follows the Tanzanian national guidelines while incorporating additional enrichment activities.

The primary school program focuses on:

Core subjects: Mathematics, Science, Languages (Swahili and English), Social Studies
Development of critical thinking and analytical skills
Computer literacy and digital skills
Physical education and health awareness
Arts, music, and cultural appreciation
Character education and values development

Our selective admission process for primary school helps ensure that we maintain high academic standards while creating a supportive learning community.
